Angela Benton
Angela Benton’s experience spans a variety of industries and roles. She has worked at several InterActive Corp businesses including RealEstate.com, LendingTree.com, and RushmoreDrive.com. Additionally she has held roles at Bizjournals.com, UPS, and Homes of Color Magazine. Throughout her career she has worked in a variety of roles in design, marketing, development, and digital strategy. Her expertise lies in New Media.
Presently Angela is the CEO of Black Web Media, which publishes BlackWeb20.com the leading online publication for African-Americans interested in Technology and New Media. Black Web media also publishes Young, Black, Professional Guide and rising political powerhouse Politic365. Black Web Media’s mission is to be a catalyst for innovation and inclusive ideas on the web for African-Americans. She also founded and Chairs’ the New Media Entrepreneurship Conference, who’s goal is to steer the Internet economy to be more diverse and inclusive.
She is one of Fast Company Magazine’s Most Influential Women in Technology for 2010 and one of Ebony Magazine’s Power 150 for 2010. She is also the youngest Hall of Fame inductee of Minority Media and Telecommunications Council and a 2010 Woman of Power honoree by the National Urban League.
Angela graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communications with a specialization in Digital Design. She has also completed postgraduate coursework in Graphic Design from Savannah College of Art and Design.

Toby Morning
Toby Morning is an artist, and serial entrepreneur who founded Urban Technology Ventures in 2001. Toby was previously VP of business development for Destiny Media Technologies, and worked on the MPE DRM system. Toby is the founder of Blue Monitor Systems, a managed IT, and creative services company from India. Urban Technology Ventures is the owner ofCitizen Space coworking spaces, and is a seed investor in several other minority founded technology company’s. Toby is the director of the Semantic Seed program, and global organizer forStart Up Camps.
